Original Release Date: July 26, 2019. Label: Sunny Bastards. Total Length: 44:03. "Action speaks louder than words"...the "typical" Opener of the brandnew Gimp Fist longplayer "Blood" leads the way to 16 new songs...people often askedus, how the North East Oi Division can write such unbebelievable hymns over all these years without gap-fillers. Well, we don´t know but maybe the refrain of the title track gives a simple answer: "Cause it´s a way of life; it´s in my blood"!!!
"Blood" is from the beginning to the end a truely masterpiece and gives a perfect versatile impression, what Gimp Fist stands for in all this 15 years! From offhand Mid-Tempo Oi! on "Pressure", "More than an army"", over maybe one of the greatest Hommages to the good old 77er Punk- and Skinhead Ära ("Kickstart"), straight forward Bootboy-Hymns like "The Fight in you", "Angry & Frustrated" or the goosebumps-track "Blood"!
