Release date in Japan is June 19, 2013. Label: Universal Music. The Ventures Play Yuming is a departure from many of The Ventures' recordings. Yuming is a well-loved female singer in Japan with a long string of hits to her credit. Back in the early 1990's The Ventures recorded one of her songs "Haru Yo Koi" which is also included on this CD: at that time, of course, The Ventures' members were Don, Bob Bogle, Gerry and Mel. On the 12 new recordings, the core Ventures' members are featured along with the participation of Ian Spalding. The Ventures have given their special treatment to these recordings, and we have been told they are great! We hope you agree.
