The history beginns in octobre 1995 at the cultural squat "Kulturfabrik" in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. Toxkäpp! (the stubborn ones) start out as an Oi! Band with luxemburgish lyrics. The founding members Fräntz (Bass), Gilbert (Drums), Patrick (Gitar) and Frank (vocals) enjoy the luxemburgish scene with their Punk songs and beer for free!
As their style moved into Ska, still with luxemburgish lyrics, 3 other musicians join the band: Pit (Saxophone), Tunn (Organ) and Sam (Trombone).
The Toxkäpp! Fan-community made the same evolution: From a small group of 'Pogo-People' to a large Skankin' crowd!
