Comment........:
The band was formed in 2003 and was named ‘Bank Holiday’. It was a four piece band and included one more guitarist. The music the band played that time was inspired by Oasis, Blur, the Verve, Supergrass and other bands performing so called ‘Brit pop’. The band had played several gigs in Perm and became very popular among youth. After making the first demo the band was issued on ‘matchbox recordings’ and ‘bliss aquamarine’ record labels compilations. Then in the year 2004 a part of the band moved to London and successfully broke up there for more than a year. After coming back to Perm the band had started it all over again, but soon one of the members decided to leave the band because of misunderstanding. The rest of the band was under great influence of the bands like the Jam, the Clash, the Kinks, the Libertines, the Who, Small Faces, the Specials, Madness and so on. They also had a big interest towards modern indie. But the guitarist was into psychedelic rock and bands like Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Hendrix etc so they could not find the compromise. After the guitarist left the band it was renamed into ‘the White Trainers Community’ and changed its course from Brit pop to somewhat that could be identified as a mixture of indie and mod revival.
