After been playing in several kinda Rockabilly bands, Nigel & PPF (And Mark R.) started The Meteors by the end of 1980 / early 1981. The band shook up the Rockabilly scene that time, and had to play Punk-kinda gigs instead the next months. During the summer of 1981 a deal was made with Island Records, and a couple of weeks later the legendary - and officially acclaimed 1st Psychobilly release - "In Heaven" album was released.
So, now it's September 2011 ... that's been 30 years ago! Time goes fast! And we've seen people and fans come and go. We've heard lots of crap and tons a good stuff, during all these years. Eventually, it's all a matter of taste, so crap or good ... it's just personal taste, right? And although, the original style have been changed during the years, and became more broadminded, ... more important ... We're still alive and kickin'!!!!!!!
