Capital has past and present members of Silent Majority, Thieves and Assassins and Iron Chic, and still manage to sound completely different from all of them. I’m a huge fan of their prior records “Signal Corps” and “Homefront” so I held high expectations for Givers/Takers, and they did not let me down. The music on this record is well arranged and super melodic, parts remind me of Propagandhi (Bog Road), some songs remind me of Avail (Road Rash), one song even reminds me of Nirvana (I Am Anonymous), but overall Capital has their own style of hardcore they’ve created.
