The Austin, Texas-based garage-punk quintet Lord High Fixers was the mid-'90s project of longtime indie vet Tim Kerr, an alumnus of bands ranging from the Big Boys to the Monkeywrench (the blues-grunge side project of members of Mudhoney and other Seattle scenesters) as well as the owner of his own eponymously-named record label. Also comprised of vocalist Mike Carroll, guitarist Andy Wright, bassist Robbie Becklund and drummer Stefanie Friedman, Lord High Fixers issued a barrage of singles, EPs and compilation tracks before releasing the full-length When the Revolution Comes in early 1997. Is Your Club a Secret Weapon followed two years later.
